Here’s how it works:

Riders log on to Buywake.com (www.buywake.com) and click on the Global Rider Search icon on the home page. They will then follow the instructions for submitting wakeboarding video footage to Wakeboarder.com. An elite panel of wakeboard industry judges will weed the entries down to ten finalists. Then the world will decide who the two winners are by judging the videos at Wakeboarder.com. The contest starts immediately and will run through Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at midnight EST. Both winners will be announced Monday September 20, 2004 following the Surf/Wakeboard Expo in Orlando, Florida.

The selected riders will receive the following:

A one-year sponsorship program which includes new wakeboarding gear (Hyperlite, Jet Pilot, Straight Line, O’Neill, and Capix), sandals and shoes (Reef and DVS), eyewear (Oakley) and a special Chevy Truck purchase incentive. Each rider will also receive a complete shop sponsorship from Buywake.com and Ambush Boarding Co. as well as be the featured rider in a full page Buywake.com advertisement in Alliance Wakeboard magazine. In addition, Alliance Wakeboard magazine will run an action photo of each winner. Finally, to help jumpstart the selected riders’ career, each winning rider will be given a trip to a 2005 Vans Triple Crown event and be entered to compete against the pros!
