Will Butler tells us why he finally realized that he's a freak, due to his obsession with wakeboarding.

I came to the realization that I am a sad, sad person. The coming of spring is the most exciting thing that happens to me all year. I've been contemplating actually GETTING A JOB to buy new wakeboard equipment. I'm going to the lake for the second time in a week. When my girlfriend dumped me, I passed it off with "Oh, well. More time to wakeboard!" I dream about wakeboarding. I handle-pass the lawnmower. I think of school as "something to do while I can't wakeboard." I've considered selling my car to get a new boat. My 1999 Answer is an "old board." I do blind-180's as I walk. I think of skateboarding as "not wakeboarding" I'm thinking of running away to Orlando. Bill McCaffary almost seems normal. Every time I drive by a large pond I think "a little bit bigger and I could wakeboard on it!" I stand at the end of my dock and shoot JetSkiers with a pressure washer. I salivate whenever I see an Air Nautique. I'm attracted to neoprene. Wakeboarding Magizine is on my list of essential traveling equipment. I draw stick figures wakeboarding. When bored, I plan the ideal way to weight my boat. Scott Byerly is my role model. What's happening to me????
