Mark Kenney Tribute Video - 19/December/02
MEDIA RELEASE: Mark Kenney Tribute Video Available in Australia
The Mark Kenney Tribute video is now available in Australia. Featuring
never before seen footage of Mark from all over the world including his
win at Wakestock Switzerland, and interviews with pros including Daniel
Watkins, Shawn Watson, Jeff Wetherill and Brett Eisenhauer, this video
immortalises one of Australia's, if not the world's best new
wakeboarding talent.
The video was produced by Jocko, famous for his WAKEtv episodes as a
gift to the Kenney family and to help keep Mark's memory alive for years
to come. All proceeds from the video go to support Mark's family.
Jocko lists this video as one of the best videos he's ever edited.
"This tribute video is absolutely amazing, it's nothing like any Issue
of WAKEtv, it's much more serious, but it's very moving. I'm extremely
proud of it, it's the best video I've ever edited, ever. This video
immortalizes one of the greatest wakeboarders ever, Mark Kenney."
The stories the pros tell in the video capture both Mark's fun loving
attitude as well as his love of the sport.
Daniel Watkins - "We were at dinner after Mark won the Gravity Games, we
ate sushi, very expensive and the bar tab was pretty big as well. Mark
told us he was buying for everybody and picked up the $1000 tab without
hesitation. Why not, after all, he just won the Gravity Games and about
$23,000."
This 32 minute video is a 'must have' for any wakeboarders collection.
A $30 donation will secure a copy of the video and also a Mark Kenney
commemorative sticker. All proceeds go to the Kenney family. More
