25 degree winter weekend ! Mick's Big Raley + Ben's Grabbed 360 !   -   16/July/01 by: B.T.

Not too often do those who wakeboard in winter time, get blessed with a weekend of 25 degrees, clear skies and the smoothest butter I've seen for a while ! No, not too often.

You can imagine when such a weekend comes about, those winter wakeboarders will go all out.

Things kicked off early Saturday with everyone enjoying the warmer than usual glassy waters and sunshine. Big tricks coming from everyone, grabs, spins, flips, switch tricks, and a Big Raley !
Yes after entertaining the boat with many high flying attempts leading to high impact stacks in the past, Mick nailed a nice big raley. I think it may have had something to do with the stop at the St Lucia Golf Course Beach !?

The day unfourtunately ended with the oars out helping the current to take us home after some water-flow trouble and a flat battery.

An early Sunday trip to Super Cheap and Ballbreaka was growling again to close out the weekend.
3 backrolls in a row from Mick, big grabs from Adam and Jared, Marty with a grabbed 180 and a nice Hoochie Glide Stack from Ben. A new trick busted out too, after a few 360s started getting big, and the boat calling for bigger, I put in a grab while taking it wake-to-wake.
